Planning and Project Management
General Aims of the Learning Process
The modules of this programme theme will enable students to become experts in the competent organisation and execution of construction and planning projects by way of theoretical inputs and practical exercises. Hereby the management, control and mediatory functions of the planner play the most important roles. Furthermore skills in presentation and communication, vital assets for a successful project, will be passed on.
Students will learn to draw up concepts for the organisation and running of a project and how to handle projects efficiently. Proficiency in communicating well within project teams will be trained and students will also gain an understanding of the fundamental principles of public relations work. Knowledge acquired in these modules will be directly used and intensified in other project modules.
