Programme Structure
Know-how in different planning cultures
The programme structure ensures direct implementation of the IMLA's cross-border approach by requiring study at various locations during project work, thus acquainting the students with different planning cultures.
Modular study
The modular programme lasts for four semesters. These are divided into three study phases. The first phase is an internship during which students work in a landscape architecture office while being supervised by university mentors. The second phase, covering the 2nd and 3rd semester, is structured as 3 trimesters, each of them with a duration of 10 weeks. The programme finishes with an international design studio in the beginning of the fourth semester. Subsequently, the master's thesis is written at any one of the three universities.
Theory and practice - study and internship
Students will profit from practical experiences gained during the internship and international design studios.
Effective study methods - Use is made of advanced e-learning methods in the preparation and follow-up phases of the project modules.
