Academic and professional experience

Since graduating from university, working as a landscape architect and designer for competitions and design projects in landscape architectural practices in Toronto, Karlsruhe, Munich, Stuttgart and London. My primary emphasis involves developing concepts for design approaches, implementation into landscape design, as well as customizing graphics to suit both the project and the spectator.
Alongside the competition and design work, I offer compact workshops in architectural graphics to professional clients, in cooperation with the Bund Deutscher Landschaftsarchitekten (BDLA), the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Gartenkunst und Landschaftskultur (DGGL) and DEULA Akademie Landschaftsbau in Germany.
Since 1999, Professor for architectural graphics, drawing and visualisation at the University of Weihenstephan-Triesdorf, full-time since 2006.
Since 2000, lecturer in design and graphics at the University of Greenwich in London (Programme in Landscape Architecture) and since 2007 at the School of Architecture, Landscape and Civil Engineering at University College Dublin in Ireland.
Since 2008, doctoral research on the history of perspective visualisation in landscape architecture, for the Faculty of Art History and Celtic Studies at University College Dublin, Ireland
