Curriculum
Planning and design methods will be presented and discussed and then evaluated according to set evaluation criteria. At the beginning very basic methods will be applied; for example, a systems analysis. These will then be followed by methods, which become increasingly more specific.
A series of methods and a planning scenario will be tested on a particular area, concentrating on the one hand on the design aspects and on the other on the planning aspects of the scenario. Where to position these methods within an integrative design and planning process will thus become clear, as well as where the strengths and weaknesses lie. At the same time a reflective and comparative look at the whole can be undertaken by reviewing the scenario and the methods.
