1992 - 1998: work in several renowned landscape architecture studios on project management, project planning and realisation
1999: formation of an own landscape architecture studio (Mettler + Schmidt, Berlin, Germany)
1997 - 2003: lecturer in landscape architecture (part time) at the Technical Universities in Berlin and Cottbus (Germany)
