"My experience with IMLA has been about discovering different ways of thinking, designing, and collaborating. What I value most about IMLA is the wide range of expertise within its faculty. Each faculty member brings a different perspective, and I really appreciate the way they explain, guide, and engage with our ideas. Rather than directing us towards a particular design solution, they give us the liberty to develop our own approaches while helping us question, refine, and strengthen them.
Another important aspect for me is the curriculum’s focus on current environmental challenges and changing landscape conditions. It encourages us to be more aware of the larger environmental context in which we design and to think critically about the role and responsibility of a landscape architect today.
IMLA has also given me the opportunity to learn and collaborate with people from different countries, cultures, and professional backgrounds. For me, this international environment, together with the freedom to explore my own ideas, has made IMLA a valuable space to learn, collaborate, and evolve as a landscape architect.
Beyond academics, I really cherish the sense of community within IMLA : the feeling of being part of a family where we grow alongside one another."
