"One aspect I particularly value about IMLA is its strong link between academic learning and professional practice. Working on tangible projects in both landscape planning and design allows theoretical knowledge to be applied to realistic challenges. The professional experience that many professors bring from outside academia further strengthens this connection, making their feedback particularly relevant and valuable.
The international character of the programme has also been an important part of my experience. Working with people from different cultural, academic and professional backgrounds brings diverse perspectives and approaches to the same challenges. While this can be demanding, it encourages greater adaptability, communication and collaboration. Coming from a different academic and professional system, I also valued the support and guidance I received throughout the programme, which helped make this transition smoother."
