The application portal for the next start of the IMLA (International Master of Landscape Architecture) programme in spring 2026 is open.

Programme start is each year in the summer semester, mid of March of the year following the application deadline. The location of studies alternates annually between Nürtingen (HfWU) and Freising-Weihenstephan (HSWT) - depending on the year of the application:

Applications submitted until 1 October 2025 (= application deadline) will be valid for the study location Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (HSWT) in Freising near Munich.

International applicants are strongly recommended to submit their application as early as possible in order to avoid delays during the application peak time.

The IMLA application and admission process is administered by Nürtingen-Geislingen University (HfWU) - no matter if your location of studies will be Freising-Weihenstephan (at the HSWT) or (one year later again) Nürtingen (at the HfWU).
