International Student Competition 'Neckar Landscape Park': second prize for Yuga Tanaka

The LE:NOTRE Student Competition 2023 with the title 'Neckar Landscape Park - Re-imagining the Productive City Region' was part of the 12th Landscape Forum from 27 June – 1 July 2023 in Nürtingen and was hosted by Nürtingen-Geislingen University (HfWU), on the occasion of the IBA’27 Festival 2023.

The competition task was the development of new and future-oriented planning and design proposals for the Stuttgart Region, with a focus on the Neckar river and its tributaries between Nürtingen, Plochingen and Altbach.

Yuga Tanaka, IMLA student in her 4th semester, worked on this assignment as part of her Master's Thesis. She was supervised by Prof. Ingrid Schegk and Prof. Cornelia Bott and won the second price with her contribution 'Release the Surface'.
