At the end of March 2025, a new group of 29 IMLA students from around the world began their studies in Nürtingen. These students hail from Bangladesh, Canada, Egypt, Germany, Iceland, India, Iran, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, Pakistan, Syria, Turkey, the USA, and Vietnam.

Topic of this year's 'Main Project I' in the current first semester is 'Nürtingen Edible Landscape Park'. The project is coordinated by Dr. Ellen Fetzer and supported by Prof Tilman Latz, Karl Michael Lange and Anna Szilágyi-Nagy. It is closely linked to the content of the parallel modules on IT, Planning and Design Methods, and Project Management.

Through this project, students have the opportunity to explore first the urban and landscape space of their study location - while the second semester project in the upcoming winter term will take place abroad.
